Currently I am working as Professor and Head of the Department of Biotechnology. Earlier I did my BS in Biotechnology from Peshawar University and choose Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad for my PhD. After the completion of PhD I joined AWKUM as and Assistant Professor in 2012 and secured the position of Professor in 2023. Meanwhile I did my Post doctorate from University Of Wisconsin Madison USA in cancer chemoprevention. My research interest are focused on isolation of natural compounds from plant which has the potential to be be developed as therapeutic agent against different ailments notably Leishmaniasis and cancer.
