  • Biblography

    Currently I am working as Professor and chairman Department of Biotechnology. Earlier I did my BS in Biotechnology from Peshawar University and completed PhD from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. After the completion of PhD I joined AWKUM as and Assistant Professor in 2012 and secured the position of Professor in 2023. Meanwhile I did my Post doctorate from University Of Wisconsin Madison USA in cancer chemoprevention. My research interest are focused on Drug development and Molecular targets-based evaluation of natural products and synthetic compounds for the treatment of leishmaniasis and cancer. I am working to establish the fact that through the combination of Bioinformatics and Biochemistry tools it is possible to discover drugs that target certain unique molecules within targeted cells that allow for the elimination of undesirable cells without harming healthy cells.
