    Hello, I am Dr. Asfandyar Khan , working as Assistant Professor (BPS-19) at Department of Mathematics , Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan. I feel immense pleasure to be on this position here at AWKUM, and before this I served the motherland in different educational institutions . For the last 13 years i have been engaged in this profession and feel that education is like all other necessary elements of life is an important and inevitable element. I am thankful that in these 13 years i have produced hundreds of graduates and they are serving the state here and abroad. I believe that education should be made mandatory for both sexes, Male and Female, as it is evident that our beloved prophet himself once said in a famous Hadith, "Seek knowledge from cradle to the grave. I received my master degree in Mathematics from the University of Peshawar, Pakistan, in 2008, M.Phil. in Mathematics from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, in 2011, and the Ph.D. degree in Mathematics and Mechanics from the Tomsk Polytechnic University Russia, in May 2017. My focus is on mechanics of deformable solid media, real analysis and advance calculus.
