  • Biblography

    Dr. Umair Khalil was born in Pakistan in 1981. He attended University of Peshawar, Pakistan for his Master Degree in Statistics 2003. In 2005, he started PhD in Statistics in the same institution, he continued his PhD degree program and completed PhD in 2013. During his PhD research work, in 2007, Dr. Umair Khalil went to Lancaster University UK for one year to undertake his research work in the area of time series Analysis under the supervision of Prof. David Peel . He began his professional career in 2009 as a lecturer in Statistics at Islamia College Peshawar. In 2015, Dr. Umair Khalil Moved to Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan as Assistant Professor. In 2019, he became an Associate Professor in the Department of Statistics at the same university. Dr. Umair Khalil is also engaged in different curricular responsibilities at the Department of Statistics and also at University level. His research interests are applied Statistics, Time Series Analysis, Survival Data Analysis, Quality Control and Regression Analysis.
