  • Biblography

    Dr. Hussain Ahmad working as Lecturer in Department of Microbiology Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan (AWKUM). He received his PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia in Medical Parasitology. His research areas are discovery of diagnostic markers for parasitic diseases and development of antibody and antigen detection rapid tests. Recently he has patented A Biomarker for Detecting Strongyloides, Methods of Detecting Strongyloides and Diagnosing Strongyloidiasis in a Biological Sample, and a Diagnostic Kit Comprising Thereof". He has been awarded with Gold medal in BS from University of Malakand and distinction in MPhil from Tehran University of Medical Sciences. He received Diamond merit based scholarship from Tehran University of Medical Sciences for MPhil and Overseas PhD scholarship from Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan.
