  • Biblography

    Prof. Dr. Ikramullah Khan is working as a Professor of Plant Ecology in the Department of Botany, AWKUM, since November 2016. Prof. Dr. Khan has earned his Ph.D. in the field of Plant Ecology from the University of Queensland, Australia. He won the University of Queensland Research Scholarship for his PhD studies. Prof. Dr. Khan has also completed one Post Doctorate from the Kunming Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China through presidential award, in the field of community ecology and phylogenomics, while did his second Post Doctorate from UAE University Al Ain in the field of climate change. Before joining AWKUM, he worked in the Department of Weed Science and Botany, the University of Agriculture, Peshawar, for sixteen years. He is a member of different national and international scientific societies. He is the founder president of the Pakistan Ecological Society (PES). He has also completed one tenure of Chairmanship of the Department of Botany, AWKUM.
